AMD marks 50 years with 'gold edition' Radeon VII, Ryzen 7 bundles

AMD turns 50 years one-time this year, and the company is celebrating by launching a couple of "golden edition" hardware bundles for fans. Upward for grabs are special editions for both the Radeon VII graphics card and Ryzen 7 2700X processor, each of which comes arranged with a commemorative t-shirt and 2 games.

"For a one-half century, AMD pushed the boundaries of what'southward possible in high-performance computing to create new experiences and possibilities for hundreds of millions of people," said John Taylor, primary marketing officeholder at AMD, in a printing release. "We celebrate this moment with our fans around the world who inspire us to push forward in that spirit for another fifty years to 2069 and beyond."

The hardware bachelor in each bundle has some extras that go far unique. For the Radeon VII graphics menu, you'll become a ruby-red shroud and packaging that sports gold accents and "AMD50" branding. For the Ryzen 7 2700X, the processor's cover features AMD CEO Lisa Su'due south signature and it besides comes in AMD50 packaging with gilded accents.

In each parcel, you'll also score PC codes for Globe War Z and Tom Clancy's The Partitioning two Gold Edition. Rounding things out in each packet is an AMD50 sticker signed by AMD's CEO, along with a coupon lawmaking for a gratuitous 50th-ceremony t-shirt.
