JJ Abrams' Bad Robot launches game studio with Left 4 Dead creator

Earlier today it was revealed that JJ Abram's film visitor, Bad Robot, had launched its own make new game development house under the proper noun Bad Robot Games Studio. Bad Robot Games Studio is based out of Santa Monica, California and will exist run by new general managing director, Michael Booth who is well known for his work behind Valve's Left iv Dead.

Every bit part of Booth's new responsibilities, he'll be in charge of gathering a squad together for working on the programmer'south future titles. Equally far equally the focus for the studio goes, Anna Sugariness, Bad Robot Games' CEO, states that the studio will aim to create large, entertaining worlds.

"Nosotros desire to build worlds that are expansive, and can cross media simply don't necessarily start in film or TV. They could start as games. We but desire to build large immersive worlds. Nosotros also want to build games that are every bit fun to watch equally they are to play. Bad Robot has a long history of making things people beloved to watch. And and so we desire to bring that expertise to building games every bit well." - Anna Sweet, CEO at Bad Robot Games Studio

Because how well Bad Robot has washed in the past, we hope to run across great things from the gaming studio in the time to come. However, since the developer house is in such an early country, we shouldn't expect to see any games produced for a few years nonetheless. We'll update as we learn more about this studio.
